Self Sabotage (The Killer of Dreams)!Jan 30, 2023
We've all been there.
You set a goal, work hard to achieve it, and then something happens that sets you back. You find yourself right back where you started, or worse.
This is the definition of self-sabotage.
Self-sabotage is a destructive behavior that can be hard to recognize in ourselves. It can manifest itself in many different ways, from procrastination to overspending. It often feels like an invisible force that is holding us back from achieving our goals.
The good news is that self-sabotage can be overcome.
The key is to become aware of the patterns that lead to it and to make conscious choices to break them.
Start by recognizing the signs of self-sabotage and then take steps to stop it.
One way to do this is to create a plan of action.
Break down your goals into smaller, achievable steps and then start taking action towards them. This will help you stay focused and motivated.
Another way to prevent self-sabotage is to practice self-care. Make sure you are taking care of your physical and mental health and that you are getting enough rest. This will help you stay focused and productive.
Finally, practice positive self-talk and affirmations. Remind yourself of your goals and why they are important to you. This will help you stay on track and stay motivated.
Self-sabotage can be a destructive force, but it doesn't have to be. With the right strategies and a little bit of self-awareness, you can overcome it and achieve your goals.
Last year, I had a FB live watch with my friend in the United Kingdom Dr Tsitsi Mercy Chieza, scoop it all up here and tag me with your feedback on that post so I will know you stopped by!
I’m also offering you some resources from my store to help you quickly overcome self sabotage (The Killer of Dreams)!
