Our daily lives are so filled with ‘noise, and more "noise'’ it is not unusual that we have become less familiar with the sound of silence and its great potential for cultivating mindfulness.
In this first issue we will talk more about Creating Quiet Time, a challenge that we continue to face. The challenge of all the noise surrounding us (e.g., other people talking, traffic, sounds of our telephone), mental noise (e.g., planning, thoughts about what to do), or both makes it difficult at times to create quiet time.
In the audio I talk more about the benefits of quiet time and how to easily create quiet time.
