I can not begin to tell you how after 20 years in private practice, I have seen hundreds of women come in because of a sudden onset of anxiety and depression. They reported feeling "empty, anxious and scared without any reasoning behind the feelings"
By the time we hit the pandemic I was feeling the same "emptiness, and anxiety". I had been diagnosed with diabetes, however to me this was an indicator of aging, busyness and high stress.
I realized I needed to make Self-Care intentional. I decided to cut down on my case load and do more workshops, and programs that will help me and other women focus on our own self -care and mental wellness. I have been enjoying collaborating with other women and helping women especially women in business, manage their mental and emotional wellness.
Throughout the years I have also learned that by the time women seek help, the exhaustion, pain and emptiness is much deeper causing a lot of medical and mental exhaustion.
